The Festival of Dreams is a Five-day family-focussed retreat based along the Pembrokeshire coastline here…where there be dolphins. Building on the success of the One World Health and Wellbeing Festival (which is no longer in the UK).
“Children are not things to be molded, but are people to be unfolded.”
We want to get back to the basics of personal development and Wellbeing. To run a festival full of workshops to help us improve ourselves, not by moulding ourselves, but by unfolding ourselves.
At our festival of dreams we have all sorts equipment to create, discover and invent with. Instead of classes we have dream workshops where participates are encouraged to risk failure as they dream of another world, just around the corner. Instead of personal trainers we have agility coaches who help others to develop themselves, not by moulding them, but by unfolding them. To believe there is always a better version of themselves, just around the corner.
The festival of Dreams provides a safe space for children of all ages to play, learn and create. Run by a consortium of like minded parents and workshop facilitators with extensive experience in education, coaching, drama and arts, we ensure families can relax and learn together in a warm atmosphere that encourages children and parents alike to make friends and connections. Location Location Location!
We are looking for stunning Welsh locations in keeping with the style of Brymore Academy where the event was born, not just a practical setting, but also a beautiful one including educational and sporting facilities, swimming pool, basketball court, sports hall, art space, performance space, workshop classrooms, tennis court, kitchen facilities and – most importantly – hot showers!
In the evenings the stage is set for the whole family to soak up live performances – and even showcase their own talent! At past events we have enjoyed singers, dancers, sketches, comedy, juggling and even gymnastics, so we can’t wait to see what the Festival of Dreams stage delivers. One thing is for certain: we’re super excited for the cabaret event on the final night.
Let’s Talk Green
At the Festival of Dreams we work hard to be as carbon neutral as possible. Where possible our food is local produce, the fire wood is responsibly sourced and we even offer a workshop on climate change. We’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our environmentally friendly approach to camps and asks guests to get involved with your ideas and efforts.
We are always looking for enthusiastic hardworking people to support the delivery of our high-quality family-focussed event. For more information and to register your interest in joining our wonderful volunteer team please click here.
